Setting Up Your Boat
By: Crest Pontoon Boats on Thursday, August 24, 2023
Setting up your Crest pontoon properly is key to having a successful and fun time out on the water. There are a handful of things to keep in mind as you’re prepping, and we’re here to make sure you’re ready!
-Be sure to check that everything is in working order on the boat—gas in the tank, a fully charged battery, and the prop should be in good shape as well.
-You should have PFDs (life jackets) on board for every passenger, and make sure they are the appropriate sizes. Proper sizing info is easily accessible online.
-If you plan to go fishing, think about how you want to store all of your equipment. You may want to distribute weight evenly throughout the boat by evenly distributing lighter and heavier items.
-Keep in mind the balance of your boat and what you really need to take with you. Don’t feel the need to fill up every storage space in the boat.
And with that, you’re all set! Time to go out and enjoy your Crest pontoon.
Thanks for reaching out. A Crest representative will be in contact shortly.
